Quiet hour every morning: no talking before our first practice – enjoy the peace and quiet of early morning all to yourself, sipping coffee, reading a book, or breathing in some fresh air
No devices in common areas: it’s all too easy to pick up our phones when we feel a moment of stillness settling in. By keeping our devices in our bedrooms it allows us to stay connected to loved ones back home, while encouraging us to take this time for ourselves – to enjoy that stillness, dive into an engaging conversation with a fellow retreat-goer, and simply practice being in the present moment.
The Journal Jar: because we believe that journaling is a powerful reflective practice, we equip you with all the tools you need to begin or continue your own journaling habit. The Journal Jar is a staple on every retreat, literally a jar full of journaling prompts to help get your mind and inquisitive juices flowing.
Activity Zone & Library: coloring books, pastel crayons, and magazines to flip through, we’ve got you covered on all the simple, creative, and mindful practices you might want to enjoy in your downtime. We even bring along a few of our favorite books, ranging in topic from self-development & empowerment to grief & bereavement, and a few fun fictions if you just want to get lost in a story for the weekend.
